On Thursday, June 12 at 4:30 PM Altrusa International of Fond du Lac selected the winner’s of it’s annual raffle at Sebastian’s Steak House.
Prizes included a LED 42” HDTV LG TV, Stihl Chain Saw, Lawn Trimmer & Leaf Blower, an Owen Gromme-McArthur Collection picture, a 3 month Team Training Membership from Club Olympia, and gift certificates from Whispering Springs Golf Club, Dynamic Wellness Center, Eden Meat Market and numerous other Fond du Lac businesses.
All the monies stay in Fond du Lac County. The Altrusa projects include: funding scholarships for adults returning to school and one high school graduate annually; scheduling and delivering Mobile Meals; supplying books and bookcases for each new Habitat for Humanity Home in Fond du Lac County. supporting Fond du Lac Literacy; supporting the Health Resource Center with supplies; and maintaining the Altrusa Reading Room at the Solution Center.
